NuggetsHoops Poll

Allen Iverson era is over in Denver. Good move?
Yes, love the trade
Maybe, interesting timing
Maybe, not sure if it improves team
No, we didn't get enough in return
No, should have kept AI this year

Who's Hot?
J.R. Smith
J.R. appears to be picking up where he left off last season - namely, playing strong. He still makes the occasional head-shaking dumb play, but they come fewer and farther between these days, and there are more and more amazing positive plays to discuss these days. He could easily compete for the 6th man of the year award this season, bringing a lot of firepower as the first option off the Nuggets bench.

Who's Not?
Steven Hunter
Steven Hunter just can't seem to get his knee problems resolved. Expected to compete for the backup center position, and garner decent minutes with Marcus Camby traded in the offseason, it looks like Hunter will again be near the very end of the Nuggets bench, if and when he can get healthy.
Quote of the Day

"I was as impressed with this group as I've been with any team in the league that I've scouted," Indiana coach Jim O'Brien said before a loss to the Nuggets. "I think they're absolutely for real. I think anybody that thinks differently will find out that I'm right at the end of this season."
