This is easliy Carmelo's strongest playoff performance
in his young career - he's averaging 27PPG on 48% shooting (and 45% from
three-point range) with 6.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists. He hit the game
winner against Dallas in Game 3 and he's stepped up in nearly every 4th
quarter in the playoffs where the game was still close. He has not been
afraid to defend the other team's star, and did an admirable job on Nowitzki
at times - no easy task. |

| In a contract year, Kleiza has never quite followed up on the coming-out party season he had last year for the Nuggets. The playoffs have been no different, and with suspect defense, his minutes are down and his shooting is among the lowest on the team. Luckily, his bench counterparts - Andersen, Carter, and JR Smith have stepped up their games and made up for the lack of production from Kleiza. |
